The catalogue accompanies an exhibition of the same name and overviews the work of textile artist Peeter Kuutma. Kuutma is the creator of numerous interior textiles in collaboration with interior designers, has executed a great many commissions and also been engaged in organizing exhibitions in many countries. Kuutma is distinct among Estonian textile artists as one of the main practitioners of geometric woven rugs. He is a founder of the Vaba Tahe (“free will”) group, whose mission is to keep the tradition of woven rugs alive in Estonia.
